JCDecaux UK announces that following a competitive tender, it has retained the Street Furniture advertising contract for the London Borough of Merton for a further 15 years.

Under the new contract, JCDecaux UK will install 50 digital 6-sheets, expanding its digital Street Furniture presence in South London.

37 screens have been installed to date with the remaining 13 planned for Q4. The new locations are a combination of Foster bus shelters and Community Information Panels (CIPs) strategically positioned across the borough, providing advertisers an unmissable opportunity to engage with audiences in town centres including Colliers Wood, Mitcham, Morden, Raynes Park and Wimbledon.

Merton is home to the world-famous All England Lawn Tennis Club, where the Wimbledon Championships take place every year bringing an extra 500,000 people into the borough for the tennis extravaganza. With the tournament just around the corner, advertisers have an excellent opportunity to target tennis fans in close proximity to The Championships with new premium locations on Wimbledon Broadway.

With a population of 200,000 residents, Merton is served by 7,500 businesses and has an area of approximately 14.7 square miles.
