Doing business ethically

Our priorities include ethical conduct and combatting corruption, working with our suppliers to improve their environmental and social footprint and ensuring that personal data is protected. Our Code of Ethics sets out the ethical standards and behaviour which are required from all JCDecaux’s people across the world. 

 

Our social values

Since 2012 we have had an international Charter of Fundamental  Social Values, formalising 17 key principles.

It is a point of pride that we keep this charter alive and it continues to evolve.

 

Joining the UN Global Compact

JCDecaux is an active member of the United Nations’ Global Compact with a commitment to human rights.  As a signatory, and in line with our Sustainable Development Strategy, we are committed to supporting and implementing the ten principles of the Global Compact on human rights, labour, the environment, and anti-corruption. Every year we publish an update on progress on the UN Global Compact website.

Our Health & Safety culture

We put the safety of the public as well as our JCDecaux colleagues front and centre of everything we do.
 
We have 19 years of RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) awards, with an order of distinction, we passed our 14th annual Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme RISQ and achieved the health and safety and quality management thresholds to achieve ISO 45001 and ISO 9001.
