JCDecaux UK expands its digital street furniture presence into a new city – Leicester.  

As part of JCDecaux UK's 2022 Upfronts commitment to digital investment in the New Different, seven Communication Hubs have been installed in the heart of Leicester city centre. The new additions have taken JCDecaux UK’s Communication Hubs network to 100 screens, extending its digital Street Furniture reach to over 1,300 locations across 17 cities nationwide.  

The Leicester Communication Hubs feature a single 86’’ high definition digital 6-sheet advertising display and accessible pay phone,  whilst also providing a powerful new opportunity for brand advertisers in the heart of the city.   

The seven Communication Hubs are located within the city centre and in key pedestrianised areas including – Causeway Lane (1), Gallowtree Gate (1), High Street (1), Humberstone Gate (3), and a prime location at Waterloo Way, positioned as passengers exit Leicester station. Premium opportunities at the station itself include five digital 6-sheets, complementing the latest installs. 

With a population of more than 350,000, a further 2.8 million of the UK workforce live within a one-hour drive of Leicester’s city centre. The conurbation is also home to Leicester City FC and is most famous for its culturally diverse scene and world-class universities.1
