This month, the JCDecaux Community Channel is proud to support the launch of We See You – a new campaign by Dementia Carers Count.
The campaign sends a powerful message to dementia carers across the UK: wherever you are, whatever challenges you face, however invisible you may feel – we see you, and we are here to help.
Frances LawrenceDementia carers often tell us that they feel invisible. Some feel trapped in their own homes as they are unable to leave the person that they are caring for. Others feel increasingly isolated as their own lives and identities go on hold as their caring responsibilities take over.
CEO of Dementia Carers Count
Chris DooleyWe are proud to support Dementia Carers Count and their We See You campaign, helping to shine a light on the unseen and often overwhelming experiences of dementia carers. Through the JCDecaux Community Channel, we’re committed to using the power of Out-of-Home to give visibility to important causes. We hope this campaign will not only raise awareness but also ensure that more carers across the UK feel recognised, valued and less alone.
Head of Social Impact at JCDecaux UK
Julia MazorodzeWe are incredibly grateful to the JCDecaux Community Channel for giving us the opportunity to raise awareness of the invisibility of dementia carers and to highlight that we are here to help.

Why this matters
- Dementia will affect 1 in 2 of us in our lifetimes.
- Caring for a loved one with dementia is often tough, exhausting and all-consuming.
- Many carers don’t know what help is available, and 9 in 10 reach crisis point.
The campaign deliberately draws attention to dementia carers behind closed doors—those who remain unseen, but who need recognition and support.
Running throughout September, We See You will be displayed across digital billboards and Communication Hubs across the UK, ensuring these hidden carers are finally made visible.
