JCDecaux has been awarded the FORS Silver Accreditation for its commitment to fleet operation standards.

JCDecaux UK is proud to announce its certification to the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Silver standard. This achievement underscores the company's dedication to road safety, operational efficiency, and environmental sustainability.

FORS is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators, that sets national standards aimed at improving safety, reducing environmental impact and boosting efficiency within transport operations.

The certification process involved a rigorous audit that assessed various aspects of JCDecaux’s fleet operations. By reaching Silver certification, JCDecaux UK has demonstrated that it is operating at a higher national standard for fleet management, showing a powerful commitment to road safety.  This includes the use of advanced safety equipment in JCDecaux's vehicles and through enhanced driver training.

Chris Collins, Co-CEO of JCDecaux UK, said “Achieving FORS Silver is a significant milestone for us. It reflects our ongoing commitment to road safety and sustainability, values that are at the heart of JCDecaux’s operations. This certification assures our clients and partners that we are leading the way in responsible fleet management.”

Frederick Joseph, UK Fleet Manager at JCDecaux, said "Attaining FORS Silver accreditation is a testament to our team’s hard work and commitment to excellence. We’ve made significant investments in our fleet to ensure the highest standards of safety and sustainability. This certification not only recognises our efforts but also motivates us to strive for even greater improvements.”

The FORS Silver accreditation comes at a time when JCDecaux UK is expanding its presence with fleets supporting the maintenance of Out-of-Home advertising sites across major cities.  By optimising its fleet operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, JCDecaux is reducing its impact on the environment, as part of the company’s commitment to sustainability that includes reaching net zero carbon by 2030.
