JCDecaux’s Community Channel provided support for the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan’s initiative to help rough sleepers get off the streets.

JCDecaux’s Community Channel provided support for the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan’s initiative to help rough sleepers get off the streets, with a campaign that ran between December 2022 and March 2023 promoting the StreetLink app across Out-of-Home advertising sites in London.

Launched in 2020, the StreetLink app gives people sleeping on the streets the ability to get immediate help and can be used by members of the public to connect people sleeping rough with the local services that can support them.

The Out-of-Home campaign was timed to offer support during the coldest months in the capital.

Since becoming Mayor, I’ve made it a personal priority to tackle rough sleeping, helping a record 13,500 people off the streets through our support services as we work to build a fairer London for all.I would like to thank JCDecaux's Community Channel for their continued support of my winter rough sleeping campaign, raising vital funds for London's rough sleeping charities and encouraging Londoners to connect people they see sleeping rough with support services through Streetlink.   Sadiq Khan The Mayor of London

The Mayor’s services have helped around 13,500 people off the streets since 2016. The campaign reminded the public that anyone can make a difference by connecting a person sleeping rough with local services by downloading the StreetLink app or by searching “StreetLink”.

The campaign ran across bus shelters, on JCDecaux’s Community Hubs (hubs that offer a range of services including free charging points and defibrillators) across the Capital and on a digital billboard in London’s Tottenham Court Road.
