On Wednesday (5th October), JCDecaux UK employees put on their best lycra and worked up a sweat in the Sale Place office for this year’s ‘Ride Adland’ competition.
The competition consisted of 24 teams across London’s adland – all racing for glory in two online races: the Fun Race (sponsored by Metro) in the morning (for two hours) and then the Epic Race in the afternoon (a whopping four hours).
Each race was a relay and team members divided the distance up between themselves. JCDecaux were competing against the following companies:
Kinetic, MediaCom, Metro, Posterscope, Snapchat, Starcom, Time Inc., Trinity Mirror, Videology, WEVE, Yahoo!, Xad, adam&eveDDB, AMV BBDO, Bauer Media, BBH, Clear Channel, Dentsu Aegis Network, ESI Media, Fold7, Google, GroupM, ITV.
The JCDecaux Teams

A big congratulations to Google who won the Fun Race and Dentsu Aegis Network who won the Epic Race. Both of JCDecaux's teams finished in 13th place out of 24 teams.
