Young Lives vs Cancer launches nationwide campaign #RunningOnEmpty.

JCDecaux Community Channel is proud to support Young Lives vs Cancer and its latest #RunningOnEmpty campaign, raising awareness about the travel costs faced by children and young people in need of cancer treatment.

Young Lives vs Cancer help children and young people (aged 0-25) and their families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. The charity understands that everyone's situation is different and so they work hard to make sure each family has what they need. This varies from financial grants to helping families stay together at one of their free Homes from Home located near hospitals and treatment centres.

The costs of travelling to hospital for treatment is leaving 71% of children and young people with cancer and their families struggling. We need as many people as possible to get behind our campaign for a Young Cancer Patient Travel Fund. Thank you to JCDecaux UK for their incredible continued support and for helping us share our campaign far and wide. Helen Gravestock Director of Policy, Influencing and Voice at Young Lives vs Cancer

This is an important cause that our JCDecaux Community Channel is proud to support, using the public screen of Out-of-Home to bring this message to people out and about in the UK. Our JCDecaux Community Channel was launched to open up access to Out-of-Home to communities and charitable initiatives and I look forward to seeing this campaign up on the streets. Chris Dooley Head of Social Impact at JCDecaux UK

The campaign is running throughout August across billboards nationwide.
