Allianz Global Investors is running an advertising campaign in London as it seeks to bolster its presence in the UK market. The fund management company of German insurer Allianz says the campaign, which runs from this week until June 9, aims to further underline the firm’s “active management credentials”. The adverts feature the slogan “Our heart beats for active asset management”, as well as live stock market data, which AllianzGI says is a “first for an out-of-home advertising campaign in the UK”. Adverts will be on display in some of the busiest train stations in the City: Fenchurch Street, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Blackfriars and Liverpool Street, which were chosen for their use by commuters to London’s financial district, providing brand exposure to thousands of current and potential clients.
The campaign will also include digital advertising in UK publications including the Financial Times. The launch comes one year after the rollout of AllianzGI’s “Active is” branding, which was used externally as well as part of an internal roadshow held to rally its workforce behind its emphasis on active investment. The German asset manager highlights that it ranked as the eighth-best selling asset manager to UK retail investors in the first quarter of the year in the most recent Pridham Report.
