The Digital Academy: our customer-focused e-learning programme

72% of marketing investment is now digital, and the IAB includes Digital Out-of-Home and Video On Demand as digital channels. However, when we spoke to brands and agencies, the majority were keen to find out more, because they didn’t feel as knowledgeable as they’d like to about those channels’ true digital capabilities. Our response to this challenge was to produce the Digital Academy eLearning series, designed by digital marketers for digital marketers and planners, to help build that knowledge in a thought-provoking and actionable way. We’re thrilled that hundreds of marketers have already been through the Academy, and rated it 4.5/5*, and we will continue to evolve the content to keep it consistently relevant for our customers’ needs. Brentford Bridge regeneration: transforming the local area for both human and wildlife communities

JCDecaux is a long-term partner of Hounslow Council and, as our Great West Road Head Office is in the borough, a proud member of the local community. We decided to support this partnership in the JCDecaux One Team spirit by bringing together colleagues from across the business, volunteering 157 hours over five days between 23 JCDecaux team members to work toward a common goal and help regenerate a forgotten parcel of land adjacent to the River Brent on Brentford High Street. The land was previously an important wildlife habitat but because of the neglect, it was an eyesore, and nature couldn’t thrive there. We helped to restore the land to its former glory by cutting back overgrown vegetation and removing litter. 
 
It was great to be involved in a project that allowed the team to get our hands dirty and make a positive contribution to our neighbourhood. Our work enabled teams from across the business to connect outside the office environment and most of all it was a good laugh.  It was even better to see a family of swans move into the restored embankment shortly after completing the work, nature’s endorsement could not be better!
