On the day of today's state funeral, JCDecaux and the Out-of-Home community have paused commercial digital advertising and are running tributes across all digital advertising poster sites across the UK. JCDecaux has also blanked non-digital posters along the funeral route. Along with the wider Out-of-Home industry, JCDecaux is running a tribute comprising a plain black creative featuring Her Majesty The Queen's Royal Cipher.

Tribute to Her Majesty The Queen on the day of the State Funeral
Alongside the wider Out-of-Home family, following the announcement from the Palace of the death of Her Majesty The Queen, JCDecaux UK paused commercial advertising to run tributes across our digital network of screens in Rail, Retail, Roadside and Airport locations UK-wide and this continued for the following 24 hours. All all our digital screens at this time showed a tribute to Her Majesty The Queen - some displayed the official portrait provided by Buckingham Palace while others showed tributes specially created by our landlord partners.
Everyone at JCDecaux has been greatly touched by the response from the public, press and news media to the Out-of-Home tributes, underlining the power of the public screen of Out-of-Home as a medium that is at the heart of communities and national life across the UK
JCDecaux UK would like to extend our condolences to the Royal Family.
