Dom Kozak Head of Programmatic at JCDecaux UK has won the 'Ad Tech Hero' award at New Digital Age’s ‘NDA  Heroes Awards’, yet another proof-point of the evolution of digital Out-of-Home to become an important part of the programmatic digital eco-system.

Dom is the first winner from Out-of-Home to win the 'Ad Tech Hero Award' at these awards which celebrate the people and companies that are making a difference by driving the digital advertising industry forward. Dom was shortlisted by a panel of industry experts from across digital, agencies and brands including Boots, Zenith, Twitch, FT, Meta, IAB and the final award was decided by a public vote.

Programmatic DOOH as a share of all Out-of-Home is growing rapidly and in the UK, JCDecaux has accelerated its transition to programmatic, making more than 7 billion impressions (eyeballs) a month available to buyers across environments, via multiple demand-side platforms (DSPs).

As the award highlights, Dom and the team at JCDecaux UK are playing a key part in this transition. From the milestone moment of the introduction of programmatic across all JCDecaux UK environments to onboarding a raft of new partners and clients, it is apt that e-marketer has dubbed 2022, ‘The Year of Programmatic’.

I’m absolutely honoured to receive this award, it is a demonstration of how far JCDecaux and the Out-of-Home industry has come that we are now collecting AdTech awards. For prDOOH at JCDecaux in the UK and globally the future is now. Dom Kozak Head of Programmatic, JCDecaux UK

This is a milestone moment for programmatic Out-of-Home and a well-deserved achievement for Dom and the team. On a wider level, this award recognises the importance of the new digital capabilities of Out-of-Home in terms of programmatic and automated buying.  We can offer our clients even greater flexibility, enabling brands to optimise playout in near real-time using data triggers, with benefits including the ease of targeting and measurement in addition to facilitating omnichannel campaigns. As e-marketer said, ‘2022 is the year of programmatic.’ Mark Bucknell Chief Commercial Officer of JCDecaux UK

As JCDecaux enters its fourth year of trading in the UK in 2022, there are now 17 JCDecaux markets making their own programmatic journey, underlining the importance of the new digital and programmatic capabilities of digital Out-of-Home for clients and agencies across the world.
