Today, Samsung Electronics UK will be inviting workers to come and recharge their batteries at the Samsung S6 in the city pod, based in Canary Wharf this week and Finsbury Avenue Square, Broadgate next week. Samsung will be showcasing its brand new Galaxy S6 and S6 edge phones and superfast wireless charging pads in this experiential campaign with JCDecauxLive at Canary Wharf.
Targeting two of London’s major business districts, Samsung’s Out-of-Home campaign will invite people to have a break in an energy pod to recharge their batteries with a healthy fruit juice.
While relaxing, visitors will be encouraged to find out more about Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and S6 edge’s powerful processor and battery, which can offer four hours usage with just 10 minutes of charge. There will also be the chance to enter a competition to win a four hour flight to a destination of their choice.
Philip Oldham, Head of B2B Marketing at Samsung UK & Ireland, said: “We’re really excited to bring the S6 and S6 edge to the City of London and Canary Wharf through this experiential activity. We wanted to offer a fun and fresh way for busy workers to come and recharge their batteries in one of our specialist energising pods whilst finding out more about how the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edges are fantastic business devices”
Stacey Knight, Director of Futures and Content at JCDecaux, said: “This is what experiential is all about – offering the public a chance to try and experience something new, exclusive and exciting while out of home. Samsung’s recharging zone at Canary Wharf is the perfect way to communicate and engage with a target audience who are alert, in the right mindset and in need of such an experience. This is a great activity that puts the consumers need at its heart.”
The three-day campaign at Canary Wharf was planned and booked with JCDecauxLive by Cheil UK and Rapport.
