JCDecaux UK installs three new interactive digital screens across Waterloo Station enhancing passenger experiences.

Passengers at London Waterloo can now enjoy an improved travel experience thanks to JCDecaux’s installation of three new digital interactive touchscreens. These double-sided 6-sheet units with information touchscreens on one side and advertising on the reverse will be reaching audiences in central locations on the lower concourse of the key commuter station.

Designed to enhance passenger convenience, the interactive units offer a range of benefits for commuters on the go, including navigation, live travel updates, contrast mode for visually impaired travellers, flip mode for wheelchair users and multilingual capabilities.

The screens are the latest additions to Waterloo’s already impressive network which includes 68 digital 6-sheets, Transvisions and Motion.

With these new additions, the station continues to position itself as a leading transportation hub for London with an annual footfall of 98.4 million passengers in 20231. Moreover, across all 19 Network Rail stations, the annual retail sales for 2023/2024 surpassed £842m and were +2% ahead of 2019/20, emphasising rail stations are key transport and leisure hubs.
