Real stories of life beyond treatment for the new Life after Cancer campaign

The JCDecaux Community Channel is proud to support the new Life after Cancer campaign across digital Out-of-Home screens throughout the UK for World Cancer Day.

Created by London-based, community-led organisation Life after Cancer, the campaign highlights an often-overlooked part of the cancer journey: life after treatment ends. Featuring portraits and quotes from people in the Life after Cancer community such as “People think I’m fine after cancer” and “I worry my cancer will come back”, the campaign shares real experiences of the physical, emotional and practical challenges many face once appointments stop.

Life after Cancer’s work shows that 92% of people they support feel life after cancer is harder than treatment itself. By bringing these voices to the public screen, the campaign aims to spark more honest conversations about what recovery can really look like.

We’re proud to be supporting this important campaign, using the power of the public screen to highlight life after cancer and the unseen challenges people face once treatment ends. The JCDecaux Community Channel was created to open up access to Out-of-Home for charitable initiatives, and I look forward to seeing this campaign out and about.
