JCDecaux UK is proud to be supporting the third annual diversity in advertising competition, run by Transport for London (TfL) and City Hall

JCDecaux UK is proud to be supporting the third annual diversity in advertising competition, run by Transport for London (TfL) and City Hall, which looks to challenge brands to make their campaigns more representative of the capital’s population. This year’s competition calls upon brands to create campaigns that authentically portray people over 55, with a deadline of 17 November to enter. To find out more click here.

The winning brand will receive ad space on the TfL network in 2021. This year’s competition follows two previous successful competitions, which encouraged advertisers to authentically portray women and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities in advertising.

The UK has an ageing population and Lloyds Banking research in 2016 found that while those over 65 years old made up 17.7 per cent of the population, they only featured in 6.17 per cent of advertising.

For more information about the competition, including instructions on how to enter, please visit TfL’s website.
