JCDecaux Community Channel is proud to support Radio Lollipop and its 'DontatingTheJoy' national billboard campaign, celebrating the incredible impact of Radio Lollipop Volunteers. The campaign highlights how joy, play and creative engagement help children cope during some of their most challenging moments in hospital.
The public is encouraged to find a #DonatingTheJoy billboard, snap a selfie, and share it on social media, helping to spread awareness and inspire others to volunteer.

Radio Lollipop is a unique charity that provides care, comfort, play, and entertainment to children in hospitals through a combination of radio broadcasting, bedside play, crafts and games. While children in hospital may not be able to say no to the doctors and nurses, when a Radio Lollipop Volunteer enters the ward, they regain something essential – a voice and a choice.
The charity believes in the healing power of play; Radio Lollipop Volunteers visit wards providing opportunities for the children to be involved in normal play which increases wellbeing, promotes healing, enables social contact and is fun! It has been evidenced that happy children get better quicker.
Chris Dooley, Head of Social Impact at JCDecaux UK said, “We are proud to support Radio Lollipop’s latest campaign, encouraging audiences across the UK to ‘donate their joy’. The JCDecaux Community Channel was created to open up access to Out-of-Home media for charitable initiatives and communities, and I can’t wait to see the campaign out and about.”

Radio Lollipop’s national campaign runs from 1–31 August 2025.
