In partnership with the JCDecaux Community Channel, PLAY launches their new ‘Grow Your City’ campaign across major cities in the UK.

The JCDecaux Community Channel is proud to support a new national campaign from social enterprise PLAY, using our digital Out-of-Home network to inspire urban audiences to “Grow Your City”.


Running across major cities throughout the UK, the campaign turns JCDecaux screens into entry points for nature action. By scanning a QR code on our digital billboards, people can access PLAY’s Glitch platform, design a digital pocket garden for their street, learn about local biodiversity and connect with nearby community planting projects.

We’re delighted to be supporting PLAY through the JCDecaux Community Channel, using our national digital Out-of-Home network to invite people to look again at their local environment and imagine what a greener, more biodiverse city could look like. This partnership shows how public screens can do more than share messages, they can open the door to participation, helping people move from seeing to doing in their own neighborhoods.”

Through this partnership with the JCDecaux Community Channel, PLAY is helping to lower barriers to environmental participation, particularly for young, urban audiences and communities who may not typically engage with gardening or nature initiatives. The campaign shows how public screens can do more than share messages, they can invite people to take part, turning everyday journeys into opportunities to green the places where they live.
