Just Like Us, the LGBT+ young people’s charity, has launched a new campaign in partnership with the JCDecaux Community Channel raising awareness of their inclusive schools programmes.
February is LGBT History Month and the campaign is set to raise awareness of Just Like Us and its work supporting schools to be happier, safer and more welcoming places for young people who are LGBT+ or have LGBT+ families.
The Sheffield Towers
Laura MackayThis is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness of the work we do to support primary and secondary schools across the UK. This LGBT History Month, we hope that school staff and governors will reach out to us so we can help support you on your school’s journey with LGBT inclusion. At a time when LGBT+ school pupils are still twice as likely to be bullied, it’s vital that we work together to make sure they can thrive in education. A huge thank you to JCDecaux for helping us make this happen.
CEO of Just Like Us
Chris DooleyWe are proud to support inclusive education. This important campaign raises awareness of how Just Like Us works with schools to improve the lives of LGBT+ young people. The JCDecaux Community Channel was launched to open up access to Out-of-Home to communities and charitable initiatives and I look forward to seeing the campaign out and about.
