JCDecaux UK’s commitment to digital transformation continues at The Bentall Centre with the addition of 16 brand-new state-of-the-art 75” screens combined of both double-sided and single-sided units. Seven are upgrades to the existing portfolio, including four double-sided and three single-sided units. Extending the network, a further three brand new locations have been added to the centre, including two double-sided units and one single-sided. The new additions are located on the first and second floor in close proximity to key stores.

The Bentall Centre, owned by Meyer Bergman, welcomes an annual footfall of 13m1 and has 75 stores across four floors showcasing over 1000 brands, including the iconic Fenwick department store which is one of eight in the UK. The digital upgrades are strategically located to reach affluent shoppers whilst at the exclusive retail destination, with key sites positioned outside Fenwick, Bershka and H&M. JCDecaux UK’s digital Out-of-Home mall channel delivers 708m viewed impressions each week². As market leaders, JCDecaux UK’s digital footprint in this environment is unrivalled, delivering 52% of all digital impressions per week2.

Throughout 2024, The Bentall Centre has had expansions of its own, with Oliver Bonas and Phase Eight both opening a new store earlier this year. Moreover, reinstating the notion of JCDecaux UK’s retail research The Social Space, The Bentall Centre invites the public to a host of activities and events during the summer period, ranging from food enthusiast masterclasses to child friendly activities during the holidays.

Within the retail space across the UK, the demand for physical stores has risen with Superdrug and Wingstop- the fast-food tycoons - both launching their largest UK sites at Westfield Stratford City3. Trinity Leeds will also see a further expansion of six new shopping destinations in 20244. The fashion chain Pull & Bear will also be expanding its scope of stores at Bluewater and St David’s Cardiff, opening its very first store in Wales in order to widen the UK portfolio4.
The JCDecaux UK digital mall portfolio includes 26 malls across 13 cities, including Bluewater, St David’s, Trinity Leeds, Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City, Liverpool ONE and Metrocentre.
