JCDecaux UK – Competition Terms and Conditions
Promoter
The promoter of this competition is JCDecaux UK Limited, 991 Great West Road, Brentford, Middlesex, TW8 9DN (“JCDecaux”).
Eligibility Requirements
The competition is open to attendees of the JCDecaux agency event taking place at the WPP offices on Thursday 28th August 2025. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
Employees of JCDecaux and their immediate families, persons connected with the competition/prize draw and their immediate families i.e., prize sponsors and their agents, are not eligible to enter.
Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
Proof of age and/or identity may be required before the prize is awarded.
JCDecaux reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the eligibility requirements or suspects fraud or other default.
How to Enter
To enter, attendees must scan the QR code available at the event and submit their full name, job title, agency and email address via the entry form.
Entries must be submitted between 9:00am and 4:30pm during the event on Thursday 28th August 2025.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
Entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, duplicate, or submitted outside the entry period will not be accepted.
Prize
One winner will receive a 90-minute Jamie Oliver Cookery Class for Two at the Jamie Oliver Cookery School, Oxford Street, London.
The prize is provided in the form of a gift voucher and is subject to the Jamie Oliver Cookery School’s terms and conditions, available at: https://jamieolivercookeryschool.giftpro.co.uk/vouchers/gift-certificate-90-minute-cookery-class-for-two-people/
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
The voucher must be used within the validity period stated by the Jamie Oliver Cookery School.
JCDecaux is not responsible for the availability of class dates or for any travel or additional expenses incurred in relation to the prize.
JCDecaux reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
Winner Selection and Notification:
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
JCDecaux’s decision regarding the winner is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
The draw will take place approximately two weeks after the event, on or around Thursday 11th September 2025.
The winner will be notified via the email address provided within 7 days of the draw.
If the winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, JCDecaux reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, selected at random.
Data Protection:
JCDecaux will collect and process personal data (name, place of work, agency and email address) for the purpose of administering the competition, and, where relevant, updating JCDecaux’s contact details on our systems in accordance with UK data protection laws and JCDecaux’s Privacy Policy [LEGAL | JCDecaux UK].
Data will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or with the entrant’s consent.
Participants may request their data to be deleted by contacting uk.events@jcdecaux.co.uk. Please note that if data is deleted before the draw, the entry will be removed from the competition.
General
JCDecaux reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
JCDecaux is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, or not successfully submitted due to technical, network, hardware, software or system failures of any kind.
By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
JCDecaux will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by entrants or the winner in connection with the competition or the prize, except for liability which cannot be excluded by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
