Working in partnership with JCDecaux Community Channel, charity and nature skills platform, Earthed, has launched a nationwide Out-of-Home campaign as part of The Great British Bee Challenge - a joyful movement that is calling on the public to take action by transforming their outdoor spaces to help bring back Britain's bees.

Led by nature influencer Jamie Walton (Instagram’s @NettlesAndPetals) and created by Earthed, the campaign aims to bring the buzz back to Britain by inviting people to transform their outdoor spaces into vital pollinator pit-stops. In return, participants will have the chance to win tickets to the UK’s biggest festivals, including VIP access to some of the summer’s most iconic shows.
Britain’s bee populations are plummeting, and with them, food security and ecosystems are at risk. Yet, 83% of UK households have access to a garden — a massive untapped resource for wildlife. The Great British Bee Challenge aims to mobilise over 5,000 people in its first year to create thousands of pollinator-friendly spaces — turning gardens, balconies, and windowsills into buzzing biodiversity hotspots.
Christabel ReedThis isn’t just about saving bees — it’s about reimagining the landscapes we live in. The potential is enormous: our gardens, balconies, and local green spaces add up to millions of acres, more than all the UK’s nature reserves combined. The Bee Challenge is about showing that every person, every patch of earth, has a role to play in restoring biodiversity. When we act together, even the smallest spaces can become part of something truly transformative.
