Thanks to funding from JCDecaux UK, Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity was recently able to support a new Network Manager post for the Greater Manchester Homelessness Action Network

When JCDecaux won Manchester City Council digital Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising contract, we committed to providing a community fund to support key social impact initiatives in the city. Thanks to this fund, Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity (GMMC) was recently able to support a vital new Network Manager post for the Greater Manchester Homelessness Action Network (GMHAN). This new position will help increase impact, voice and influence across the city region. Read the blog by Philippa, the new Network Manager at the GMHAN that our funding is supporting!

Not only that, but JCDecaux UK has committed to plant five new trees for every Community Information Panel (CIP) installed. Working with Manchester City of Trees JCDecaux has pledged to provide a range of apprenticeships and work placements in Manchester to help students, and the unemployed.

JCDecaux UK Choose to Care and is committed to doing things the right way to support our customers and partners, another proof point of how the public screen of Out-of-Home gives back to the community.
