Art Everywhere, working in partnership with JCDecaux and other Outdoor companies, has launched a nationwide campaign this summer to stage “the largest exhibition of its kind across the world”.
From Monday the 12th of August, the campaign will transform thousands of billboards and poster sites across the UK and will display a total of 57 Great British artworks, as voted for by 30,000 members of the public.
The project to “be moved, be inspired, be surprised and get smiling” was founded by Richard Reed, co-founder of Innocent Drinks, the Art Fund, Tate and the poster industry, and encourages the British public to engage with the live exhibition via social media and an app on their phone.
