This December, JCDecaux Airport reveal the latest set of characters from their 'Meet the Airport Audience' research project: Lee and Dmitri, the global jet setters.
Airports are the ultimate luxury environment and passengers like Lee and Dmitri, who travel all over the globe, take advantage of the incomparable luxury offerings available all under one roof.
They are an audience that won’t compromise on quality, opting for premium goods and services. Keeping up with the latest fashion and trends, they believe it’s worth paying extra for high-end goods – with an average of €665 spent per trip on sunglasses, watches and jewellery.
In August 2016, we saw a 61% y-o-y increase in luxury category spend at Heathrow Airport, with luxury watches and jewellery up a staggering 74% y-o-y.
