Three ran a dynamic digital Out-of-Home campaign encouraging people to make their own content using their new app on PonyMixer.com with the chance to see it running on their nearest digital screen. The campaign enabled the public to interact with the brand and to share their very own “Pony Mashups” on digital screens in rail and mall environments.
The campaign invited people to create their own series of Pony Mashup videos set to different music genres such as hip hop, punk, and rock, using the mobile app at PonyMixer.com.
Participants could send their Pony Mashup videos via twitter and hashtag their local Digital OOH site (ie. #EustonPony) for a chance to get it on the big Outdoor screen. The live twitter feed then drove the second creative execution featuring participants’ twitter handle, dedication and Mashup video, delivered to specified screens across the UK.
The digital campaign was planned and booked by Mindshare and Kinetic with JCDecaux. Created by Wieden+Kennedy, digital production was by Grand Visual.
