Global offshore health and safety firm, Falck Nutec, has strengthened its links both with the North-East of Scotland and the international business community by continuing its partnership with Aberdeen Airport. The investment comes as the firm has booked a campaign on the ‘Northern Light’, JCDecaux Airport’s 728m² advertising site, the largest single site airport banner in Northern Europe, at the gateway to Europe’s Oil Capital.
Jacqueline McCormick, Commercial Director of JCDecaux Airport said, “It is great to have attracted such a respected business partner for our ‘Northern Light’. This site is one of the largest airport advertising sites in Europe and as such creates a powerful association between the brand, the airport and the Aberdeen area.”
Falck Nutec’s UK Managing Director, Graham Gall, stated that the message demonstrates Falck’s position as a leading global training provider, whilst further emphasising their commitment to the local business community as a whole: “We are delighted to further strengthen our partnership with the airport – which has been developing for the last 13 years. Our overall investment with the airport will no-doubt benefit both parties, and has added an exciting good news story in a joint approach to reveal this impressive site. Personally, I am proud that we can formally be part of the main gateway to the North-East and the International community by welcoming global opportunities to our region.”
He added: “Our Falck brand values are highly focused around trust and people; I feel that the work we have carried out in repositioning our marketing message at Aberdeen Airport authentically reveals this. We have had an extremely busy start to 2012, on the back of a successful but challenging last 12 months, and are relishing the prospect of further development this year. We are positioned as the world’s largest offshore training provider and feel that the time is right to share this message. This marks the start of an exciting new period of development for Falck Nutec, the Airport and our support for the North East economy.”
Aberdeen Airport MD Derek Provan is equally pleased with the new site. He said: “Not only are we delighted to have such a unique site on offer to our partners, we are also delighted to continue our strong relationship with Falck Nutec. We have worked with this business partner for more than a decade, training thousands of students every year through ‘FTG’, our Fire Training Group, and I am pleased to see this relationship extend further across the campus.
