Burger King Takes a Bite Out of Billboards with 2D campaign

Burger King will transform billboards in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool throughout January with special 8ft x 8ft 2D cut-outs of a Whopper. Booked with JCDecaux’s Innovate through IPM and Initiative Media, the giant burgers will gradually disappear as they are ‘eaten’ bite by bite over the 2 week campaign.

Part of Burger King’s ‘Taste is King’ marketing drive, the special-build 96 sheet poster sites will whet the appetite of hungry shoppers heading into town for the sales.

Spencer Berwin, Managing Director – Sales at JCDecaux said, “These fantastic Outdoor sites will remind hungry commuters of the great taste of the Whopper with eye-catching creative that will be devoured before their very eyes. The posters will drive sales, creating a sense of excitement on the street and an appointment to view as the campaign builds.”
