Digital Copy - Linear


When booking a digital campaign with JCDecaux, as standard it is assumed that one piece of copy will run per booking or artwork will run in equal rotation, creative deadline for linear campaigns is 5 working days prior to in charge. Complex scheduling is not presumed at the time of booking. Should notification & confirmation not be forthcoming 5 working days prior to live date JCDecaux reserves the right to reject the schedule/artwork without liability.

Therefore it is imperative that campaigns with complex scheduling requests are approved by JCDecaux at least 5 working days in advance of the campaign if any of the following applies:
  • There are more than 14 pieces of copy per 2 weeks per format (additional copy is charged at £120 net)
  • That copy will not be delivered 5 working days before the campaign is live (late copy must be agreed by the digital team and is not guaranteed to be scheduled if nor previously agreed prior to the 5 working day limit)
  • Copy needs to be scheduled out of the working day (9am -5.30pm) additional charges will apply
  • Out of hours copy needs scheduling (contact details will be supplied and a charge of £500 net is applicable per day)
  • That charges have been confirmed via email from specialist or production house
 
 

Resupply - Linear


Artwork resupplied within 5 working days of live date will be considered as “Late resupply”
  • Late resupply shall only be permitted if previously agreed with the digital team
  • Late resupply without prior agreement will be subject to a £500net charge which must be accepted to be actioned
  • No late resupply without prior agreement of acceptance of charge will be actioned under normal circumstances
  • Resupplied artwork may take up to one working day until live
  • Under exceptional circumstances JCDecaux may waive above conditions

Live and dynamic campaigns


Live and dynamic campaigns require considerable testing, moderation and compliance. At booking it is assumed that all bookings are non-dynamic with JCDecaux.
  • If the campaign is Dynamic the digital team must be aware of this at least one month prior to the in charge and campaign date or at time of booking
  • Dynamic campaigns require at least 10 days testing – complexity of campaign makes testing variable
  • JCDecaux testing fees can range from approx £2k-17k net dependent on creative execution
  • If JCDecaux testing fees have not been agreed prior to campaign then we reserve the right not to run/test the campaign until this has been confirmed
  • Default copy must be supplied for any dynamic campaign (therefore if the campaigns system fails the client will not lose any ‘show’ on campaigns)
  • Dynamic campaigns will only run if the appropriate production fee has been allocated and JCDecaux has received email confirmation in agreement of this cost via specialist or production house
 
 

Testing Fees

 
  • £2k: Text based feed (e.g. Twitter feed) this cost covers compliance testing and soak testing
  • £5k - £7k: image/video based and more complex (e.g. Facebook or multiple video) this cost covers extensive testing (inc live environment, feasibility and compliance testing) monitoring,
  • £17k: Live Streaming: this cost covers extensive testing, 3rd party optimisation, compliance and monitoring

  • Technical specifications are now online
  • Creative and content testing must take place after 23:00 (unless approved by Stacey Knight or Lauren Baines)
  • One piece of copy, per day of campaign or the total amount of copy
  • All dynamic files require testing
  • All testing and copy fees must be confirmed in writing
  • A minimum of 10 days is required for testing dynamic campaigns
  • Dynamic campaigns must be communicated to JCDecaux at least a month in advance
  • Standard copy and scheduling requests must be communicated a minimum of 5 days before the campaigns or cannot be guaranteed to go live
