We strive to make everyone at JCDecaux UK feel like they are supported by One Team and lifted by its spirit. It provides a place where people can connect, share, offer support and laugh with their peers.

The initiative, launched in 2018,  looks to not only encourage interaction but to also provide opportunities through charity work and social activities. The local charity work is a way for us to give back to the local community, for example by fundraising or working with schools in the area. The social and well-being activities are designed to encourage interaction and communication between team members, whether it’s a group trip or simply a 5-a-side football game.

Team building activities

Brentford Bridge regeneration project

In partnership with the London Borough of Hounslow as part of a local regeneration project at Brentford Bridge, a team from JCDecaux UK volunteered their time over a period of  approximately 12 months to improve the Bridge’s adjacent embankment through organised site clearance and litter picking.  Their hard work helped improve the bio-diversity and promote local wildlife populations, like families of the spectacular Kingfisher birds. The final phase of this project involved planting and installing the Kingfisher habitat boxes.

The Three Peaks Challenge

The Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity was the ultimate example of a One Team effort. Tackled during a July weekend, it was a true test of everyone’s mental and physical strength. 41 hikers from different departments and offices worked together and encouraged each other up and down each mountain, extending hands to help those who needed it and sharing words of motivation and kindness.  It was a triumphant success raising over £14,000.
