USB charging points have been installed in JCDecaux’s new digital bus shelters on Princes Street in Edinburgh.
The new charging points will allow people waiting for a bus to charge their phones, using their own charging cable.
The council's transport convener, councillor Lesley Hinds, said: "One of the great things about the new bus shelters on Princes Street is the phone charging points, which will help those travelling around or visiting the city to stay connected all the time.
"This will be particularly useful during the festival, when more people than ever will be passing through Edinburgh."
As part of its partnership with the City of Edinburgh, JCDecaux will be upgrading bus shelters across the city, which will see around 400 of Edinburgh’s bus stops replaced with state-of-the-art shelters.
