The focus for MediaCom’s Transformation Week is the need for companies to be constantly, and actively, evolving – transforming themselves to keep up with new trends and keep ahead of the competition. Never has this been more evident than in the shockwave of disruption brought about by the COVID-19 crisis. Our "case study" delivers six key "building blocks for transformation" revealing how at JCDecaux we have used the catalyst of the crisis to reinvent the business and, in so doing, will hopefully provide some shared learning for others.

Our speakers

Mark Bucknell – Chief Commercial Officer

Mark Bucknell is the Chief Commercial Officer at JCDecaux. Mark joined JCDecaux in 2006, following a number of years at smaller Out-of-Home companies. Having worked and led teams across Investment, agency engagement, directly with clients and in a variety of commercial and strategic roles, Mark was appointed as CCO in the summer of 2019. Mark is responsible for leading the UK Commercial Team as well as the international team based in London. Mark has been involved in the Bloom Exchange, is a positive voice for diversity and inclusion within the OOH sector and recently qualified as a Mental Health First Aider.

Kate Tovey – Director of Customer Engagement

Kate Tovey is the Director of Customer Engagement at JCDecaux. Over the past 15 years Kate has worked in a variety of commercial OOH roles spanning investment, strategy and business transformation. In her current role she is responsible for working with media and technology partners to help grow awareness and understanding of OOH and programmatic. Kate is the 2021 chair of Balance in OOH, is a WACL Future Leader (2019), and has completed Coach House training that puts her on the path to being an accredited coach.
