Statoil, the international energy company has taken ownership of the newly expanded 98-strong Powerpole network at Heathrow Airport, in a 6-month branding campaign. The campaign with JCDecaux Airport was planned and booked through Rapport and UM International.
Statoil’s campaign raises awareness of the company’s role in fueling the United Kingdom, using the creative strapline: “British Passion/Industry. Powered by Norwegian Gas.” Statoil’s creative will run the length of the Powerpoles, which provide passengers with a free charging service for their laptops, tablets, phones and other mobile devices.
Alan Sullivan, Sales Director - at JCDecaux Airport said, “Business travellers increasingly rely upon mobile technology to keep in touch with their clients while at the airport. Powerpoles offer advertisers the opportunity to provide a welcome service to passengers and to put their brand right in front of the customer. We are delighted to welcome Statoil to our newly expanded Powerpole network.”
Located in Arrivals and Departures’ lounges across Heathrow Airport Terminals, the Powerpole network has recently been expanded from 49 to 98, underlining the success of the service to passengers.
