It looks like summer has finally made it to the UK, and with it comes one of our favourite sporting events: The Ashes.
For those who may not have the luxury of attending this year’s most prestigious cricket series, Sky Sports is providing commuters with all the highlights and scores across JCDecaux Transvision screens and D6’s across London’s busiest rail stations.
The combination of digital 6-sheets and Transvision screens is perfect for capturing the attention of the huge number of busy commuters that pass through the stations each day.
The campaign kicked off on Monday broadcasting reminders of the event. Starting yesterday (8th July), live scores and highlights will be broadcast until the 19th July.
Kat Sperring, Account Director at Rapport Worldwide said: “Sky Sports is providing further prestigious sporting rights outside of football with The Ashes. It is a major part of the British sporting calendar and we are creating excitement in the lead up to, and during the tests for commuters who do not want to miss out on a sporting moment.
“This kind of digital Out-of-Home campaign is perfect for driving engagement amongst light TV viewers who are out of home and justifies that Sky is the number one channel for all of the action.”
The campaign was planned and booked with JCDecaux by Rapport.
