Reaching 2.3 million passengers a day, The Sun ran a tactical campaign announcing the royal new arrival across JCDecaux’s national network of rail Transvision screens.
The Sun’s campaign was planned and booked by M/SIX and Kinetic and featured fellow 'rulers of the world': Harper Seven, North West, Elijah Furnish-John and Blue Ivy.
Not to be swayed by such unusual monikers, JCDecaux’s ConnectedCommuter poll of rail passengers correctly predicted that George would be the royal baby’s name.
Transvision is celebrating a new arrival of its own, with the addition of a Transvision screen at Brighton Station, bringing the network to 23 screens across 18 stations. The new Brighton screen is located directly in front of the experiential zone on the concourse, facilitating campaigns that link screens to space.
JCDecaux’s Transvision network is available across London terminals: Euston, King’s Cross, St. Pancras, Charing Cross, Victoria, Waterloo, London Bridge, Cannon Street, Fenchurch Street and Liverpool Street; and in major city stations: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and now Brighton.
