JCDecaux, the UK’s leading Outdoor advertising company has appointed James Roles from News International as Director of Client Development. In this newly created senior role, James will have a remit across JCDecaux’s portfolio.

Reporting to Spencer Berwin, James will head an expanded client team of 4, comprising Isabel Howett, Business Development Director and an additional 3 new recruits. James will work closely with the UK and JCDecaux OneWorld sales teams to develop new business and to keep clients abreast of the fast-changing opportunities in the Outdoor market.

James Roles was Head of Client Development at News International Limited where he set up and ran the client team across the portfolio of newspapers. Previous to this, he was Head of Brand Marketing for the Sunday Times and Times. In his earlier career James worked at agencies including BBJ, Saatchi & Saatchi, Universal McCann and OMD.
