Costa fans shared their own ‘little moments of fun’ this Christmas in a dynamic DOOH campaign with JCDecaux, which deployed user-generated-content on digital screens nationwide.
Throughout November, Costa fans were encouraged to engage with the brand by entering an online photo competition to win the ‘Ultimate Christmas’ – where the winner received a selection of prizes totalling a value of £15,000.
Consumers were invited to take a photo of themselves holding one of Costa’s seasonal coffee cups, which came in several variations - ranging from Father Christmas to a gingerbread man - and upload it to the brand’s website.
Spreading the excitement, Costa also gave consumers the chance to see their uploaded festive creations displayed as a digital Christmas card, which went live as part of Costa’s Christmas advertising campaign on JCDecaux’s digital screens in malls from Monday 16th December.
The campaign was planned and booked by ZenithOptimedia and Meridian, with production by LivePoster.
