Coca-Cola launched a special-build campaign with JCDecaux this month to add a touch of magic to those out-and-about this Christmas.
Planned and booked by MediaCom and Kinetic, the soft drinks brand deployed a collection of festive 6-sheets around the UK, in malls and on bus shelters, to promote their new ‘Gift Bottle’.
The Gift Bottle allows consumers to peel the label on their drink, and pull it to create a special bow that they can then present to loved ones.
To promote this magical new bottle, the 6-sheets encouraged families and mall shoppers to press a button labelled “let it snow” to create a magical snowfall display around the 3D Gift Bottle inside! Coca-Cola’s iconic “Holidays are coming” music was also played, and a QR code on each 6-sheet linked through to the brand’s special Christmas microsite.
The 6-sheets were deployed in some of the UK’s busiest malls including the Birmingham Bullring, London Bluewater, as well as key arterial routes in London and Manchester – perfect for reaching those doing their Christmas shopping!
The bus shelters hosting the 6-sheets also had vinyl wraps incorporating Coca-Cola’s iconic red and white branding, with pictures explaining how to “create the magical bow in 3 easy steps”.

The special-builds were live from 30th November until 14th December.
