JCDecaux, the UK’s No 1 outdoor advertising company, announces that Julie France, Managing Director of JCDecaux Airport, will leave the company at the end of January 2014 after 7 successful years with the company. Alan Sullivan, Sales Director of JCDecaux Airport has been appointed to the role and will join the UK management board.
Julie France joined JCDecaux Airport in March 2007, appointing Alan Sullivan as Sales Director in June 2007.
Jean-François Decaux, Chairman of the Executive Board and Co-CEO of JCDecaux said, “Julie has been a huge asset to our business and we all wish her well as she moves on to new challenges ahead. I am delighted to appoint Alan Sullivan as UK Managing Director of JCDecaux Airport. Alan’s understanding of the media landscape and established relationships with our airport media partners will be invaluable in his new role. As the launch of Heathrow Terminal 5 and the London Olympics demonstrated, airports provide an increasingly important platform for clients and their brands to reach influential, global audiences.”
Julie France said, “After over 20 years working in the media industry, it feels like the right time to take a break and to think about the next stage of my life and career. After 7 successful years, I’m delighted to be handing over the reins to the next generation of talent within our company and have every confidence that Alan is ideally placed to take the business forward.”
Reporting to Jean-François Decaux, Alan will head JCDecaux’s UK airport advertising division that holds contracts for air and rail concessions including: Heathrow Airport, Heathrow Express, Aberdeen Airport, Edinburgh Airport, Glasgow Airport, London Luton Airport, Eurostar at St. Pancras International and Eurotunnel.
