JCDecaux to expand Première with new NCP contract

January 2008, JCDecaux, the UK’s market leading Outdoor advertising company has signed an exclusive agreement with National Car Parks (NCP) to develop and manage roadside billboard advertising on NCP land.
This new agreement will enable JCDecaux to offer new Première sites in high-profile city centre locations. Under the agreement, JCDecaux will have the rights to develop a substantial number of new billboard sites, in addition to the sales and marketing of 25 x 48 sheet billboards. JCDecaux will also upgrade a number of existing sites to High Definition recyclable posters and install scrolling units in selected locations.
NCP, the leading brand for UK car parks for over 75 years, continues to be the most successful car park operator in the UK with over 136 car parks in city centres nationwide. Phil Drye Development Director of billboards at JCDecaux said, “We have worked closely with NCP since 2003 and this new contract will allow us to provide our clients with more high-quality sites in cities such as London, Manchester and Glasgow. There is huge potential to expand our Première portfolio with carefully targeted sites as well as the introduction of new poster formats.”
