Pretty Polly launches UK's first dancing billboard

02 November 2007

To celebrate the end of British Summer Time Pretty Polly, the UK’s leading hosiery brand, is launching the UK’s first live dancing billboard on JCDecaux’s A4 Showcase site. The traffic-stopping billboard will feature a troupe of choreographed dancers wearing sexy hosiery using traditional Japanese kuroko dance techniques.

The Outdoor campaign was planned and booked by Hyperspace at Posterscope and Goodstuff Traditional kuroko technique sees dancers in black outfits perform gravity defying moves against a black background, making a feature of their legs – in this instance highlighted in bright, colourful Pretty Polly hosiery. The resultant visual is mind–boggling, providing a carnival of colour and motion.

The activity is taking place to launch Pretty Pretty Polly’s Autumn/ Winter campaign - ‘The Joy of Winter Legs’. This campaign sees Pretty Polly reunited with advertising Trevor Beattie, the creative force behind the campaign.
