JCDecaux expands Première with new Outdoor Plus deal

JCDecaux, the UK’s leading outdoor advertising company has signed another long-term partnership with Outdoor Plus to market and sell 20 portrait Première Backlights in London. The agreement gives JCDecaux a unique holding of the super-sized portrait billboard and expands the Première portfolio in the capital.
The Outdoor Plus Première 450 billboards are all on key arterial routes including: Western Avenue, Tower Bridge Road and the M4 slip road approach to Heathrow. The deal brings JCDecaux’s total holding of the 7.5m high x 5m wide billboard to 50.
This is the second long-term partnership between Outdoor Plus and JCDecaux and follows a Première 500 marketing agreement covering 20 billboards signed in February 2007.
Jonathan Lewis, Managing Director of Outdoor Plus said, “This agreement will consolidate the Première 450 format in the capital. This deal builds upon our existing partnership for Première 500s and will provide exciting new opportunities for advertisers.”
Spencer Berwin – Managing Director, Sales said, “The Première 450 is the Outdoor equivalent of taking a full-page ad in a glossy magazine. It’s been a huge success and has already brought new brands to Outdoor. We are very pleased to be expanding our offer. Outdoor Plus’ sites are in great locations and are an excellent fit with our portfolio.”
