De Montfort University used JCDecaux Innovate to bring to life a campaign aimed at prospective students. The campaign featured on Bluetooth activated bus shelters, giving prospective students the ability to download information and enter a competition to win a year’s worth of tuition fees.
Over a six week period, the University used 35 sites in Leicester, Nottingham, Northampton, Sheffield and Stoke-on-Trent.
Bluetooth is an increasingly popular tool to reach young people due to their increased propensity to engage with mobile technology. It provides advertisers with the opportunity to interact with their audience and relay further information, whilst delivering measurable results to track campaign success.
