At JCDecaux, Health and Safety is of paramount importance and we are committed to delivering the highest levels of safety. Due to the nature of our work, we have a responsibility and obligation to not only ensure the well being of our staff but also that of members of the public.

JCDecaux UK Ltd installs and maintains street furniture and advertising panels for local authorities and the advertising industry throughout the UK. The management of JCDecaux UK Ltd recognises that one of the factors, which will enable it to continue to deliver world class outdoor advertising products, is to ensure that the performance of its activities reflects the changing priorities of its stakeholders.

The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, imposes a statutory duty on employers to ensure in so far as is reasonably practicable the health and safety of their employees whilst at work. This duty also extends to others who may be affected by that work.

Employees also have a statutory duty to take care of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts or omissions.

To enable these duties to be carried out, it is our intent to ensure that responsibilities for health and safety matters are effectively assigned, accepted and fulfilled at all levels within our organisational structure.
