Glasgow, ‘Scotland’s business engine’, has a proud industrial heritage that now takes the shape of business excellence and entrepreneurialism. Relative to the rest of Scotland, the region has a high concentration of high-growth firms (HGFs), which make a disproportionate contribution to economic and employment growth. The airport reflects the profile of the city with almost a third of passengers flying on business, giving advertisers access to a wealthy and influential audience.
The airport is Scotland’s long haul gateway, hosting the country’s only flights to tourist spots Orlando and Dubai. It also plays a key role in keeping the UK connected, with up to 58 flights per day between London and Glasgow.
