Gaming

Who says gaming is geeky? There’s a whole realm of trendy gadgetry out there, waiting to be devoured, which StreetTalker has been getting its mitts stuck into. We all agree, this summer’s big brainwave goes to the PSP for its collaboration with Sky. The result is the Go!View service that lets PSP users across Europe watch Sky TV programmes on the bounce. If you can’t wait until mid summer 2008 to get hold of one, just enter our competition to win a Sony PSP Slim & Lite and get gaming on the street!

Another digitalised goodie that everyone’s shouting about is the Wii’s very own game download store, opening this month. The word is that WiiWare titles will include Dr Mario & Germ Buster, Final Fantasy Crystal and Star Soldier R. So who said boys and shopping don’t go well together?

Worth noting too, is the expected launch later this year of Sony Playstation’s “Home”, a virtual world in which PS3 owners will be able to meet, chat and share content. The gaming realm is about to get a whole lot bigger…

Oh and before we forget, there’s a rumour going round that Gears of War 2 on the Xbox 360 is set to be the most anticipated release this autumn- just remember where you heard it first.

Slim & Lite

The great new PSP Slim and Lite is the redesigned version of the popular handheld Sony PlayStation Portable. This new version has a video-out port, which will allow you to hook your PSP up to your TV for that large screen experience. It’s not bad looking either!
